My young son tore up the very good condition 1962 Red Sox Yearbook, autographed by Dave Morehead and Bill Mombouquette, that I got as a gift three years ago from a now deceased business contact. It had the young Carl Yastrzemski, Earl Wilson, Pumpsie Green, Gary Geiger, Chuck Schilling, Frank Malzone, Eddie Bressoud, Bob Tillman. Even a picture of the young Curt Gowdy, the Red Sox radio announcer in that year. A list of the Red Sox players and coaches when they were at their worst in the last 70 years. Sad.
Steve, you miss the point. I posted this in baseball, not the suicide section--Heaven help us if there is one.
Edit: We can't trade him. He even would clear waivers. Kids get an 18 year, no cut contract with a player option for 4 years of college after that.
