How do I remove the silver thing on the back blocking where I put the graphics card?
How do I remove the silver thing on the back blocking where I put the graphics card? I don't quite know what its called, but I tried to push it out and it messed with something, I have an HP a6700f
Hey,
I'm assuming you're on about a desktop case (upright or laid flat). In either case, they vary - some just have screws holding them in, some have a bit of solder; it seems yours is the latter; just gently ease the plate off with a screwdriver or something similar.
The plates are only there as 'dust-proofing' so the more peripherals you add, the more plates need to come out. Just take care to remove what you need and you can't go wrong.
