How difficult is Principle of Microeconomics (100-level class)?
I'm an engineering student, and I need to take Principle of Microeconomics; the only class open is a large lecture hall (which makes me fall to sleep sometimes due to the lack of activity). As of now, I'm already registered for 13 credits. One more class would make it 16. If it isn't really difficult, I might just take it.
I have numerous experience with calculus and lower math. I am also interested in finance and investing--I follow stock/gold (almost $1,900.00/oz WoW!) prices and listen to Bloomberg business radio at work. I only read the business/finance and technology/science sections of the newspaper and always avoid the sport section. However, I don't think my interests are much relevant to the class itself.
Would it be difficult to get an A? What are some advices?
It will be easy. Micro can be quite challenging to students who do not have calculus. An engineer with calculus should do well. Principles usually does not use the calculus but the logic behind the relationships is calculus logic.
