A baseball card OF the fan?
Honestly, Topps shows its New York bias even more. This is ridiculous. If it was a KC fan catching a Royals 3000 hit and doing what this guy, would he be getting a card? Does ANYONE outside of the fan and his mom care about his card? Would anyone here want it?
Case in point - remember when McGwire hit his 62nd homer and a Busch Stadium employee (groundskeeper I think) gave it to him? Never saw a damn thing about that guy - no card, no interviews, nobody offering to pay off his student loans.
And no, I wouldn't want the card. UNLESS it comes with REALLY good bubblegum.
